Unlock your child's potential with bespoke English lessons for every ability. My expert guidance, care and dedication combines versatile study plans and diverse resources to ensure your young person reaches their goals. Lessons are one to one or in small groups of no more than four students, never a full class, so every student gets my attention. Lessons are online, or face to face at my home office in Hertfordshire.

GCSE English Language and GCSE English Literature available from a teacher with vast experience and an understanding of what parents and their children really need.

Fees

- GCSE English Language and English Literature, one to one: £55 per hour

- GCSE small group (two or more students): £45 per student, per hour

- A-Level English Literature, one to one: £65 per hour

Every session is invoiced. Payment and cancellation terms are in the Terms of Service.

Regular Lesson Times

Flexible class slots designed to integrate with your lifestyle, covering 4pm-8.30pm on weekdays and Saturday morning if required. Please get in touch for availability.

Parental Peace of Mind

As a parent myself, I understand exactly how it feels to be able to choose the right tutor to support your young person to achieve their optimum outcomes. Parental peace of mind is just as important as your child being successful, learning new skills and developing the confidence to sit English GCSEs. Parents will receive half termly reports detailing their child's progress which can reassure you that your child will be supported and challenged with me as their tutor. Weekly feedback to your child will ensure they are making constant progress in a secure, confident and engaging way.

In addition I have 26 years of teaching experience; I am currently employed as an English teacher, having previously been a Head of English and worked on a Senior Leadership Team in charge of Curriculum and Examinations. I have also been an exams officer and marked for AQA. I genuinely feel that committing to the success of your young person is the key reason to offering this bespoke and caring tuition service. I have worked with some of the most able children and others who are on the pass/fail borderline. Whatever the ability of your child they will receive expert and experienced tuition.
